The Reverse-A-Matic™ RM-60-D trailer direction sensing system is a stand alone device for Class 7 & 8 trailers. The RM-60-D Dump valve control allows the trailer to exhaust air from the suspension on one axle of a two axle trailer for the purpose or easier manoeuvring. It meets the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration FMCSA regulations 393.207. This regulation allows a trailer to exhaust the air from one axle on a two axle trailer, as long as the trailer is travelling less than 10 MPH (Miles per Hour).

The Reverse-A-Matic™ system monitor’s trailer air tank pressure and warns of insufficient pressure with a light on the trailer. The Reverse-A-Matic™ offers the following beneficial functions:

• Activates on trailer back up lights and/or back up alarm system
• Lifts the trailer lift axle in reverse for easier manoeuvring
• Chassis lights for night safety
• Inserts a steer axle’s locking pin to secure it for straight operation above 60KM/H
• Trailer brake air tank pressure monitor (3 blink bulb check).

The Steer Axle and the Lift Axle functions automatically remove control from the cab. The Four-way Flasher Function gives back the Lift Axle control to the driver when needed for dangerous and slippery conditions only. The Reverse Lights can illuminate the path behind the trailer and warn others of its presence.

The RM-60-D meets all SPIF regulations including 5 & 6 axle trailers. Wheel Monitor products are designed to meet SAE J-1455 Specifications for heavy-duty vehicles.
